Through our seminars and educational resources, we offer individuals and church groups a way to strengthen their faith and look beyond their personal experience to meet the challenges of the larger human community.

Progressive Legacy
Our story began with two friends, two visions and one bottle of CocaCola. These are the elements that make up the story of how FAITHANDREASON came to be. R. Z. Biedenharn and D.L. Dykes, Jr. were friends in the 70s and 80s who saw fundamentalist and literalist Christianity as a destructive presence in American life. Biedenharn a businessman and Dykes a minister also shared the idea that for religion to be a positive force in human life, two essential partners must be brought together; i.e., reason and belief.
